  • Ana Morales Hired as VP of Business Development

    WASHINGTON, Oct. 20, 2009 - Bank of Georgetown has hired Ana Morales as vice president of business development to work with local community businesses and create new client relationships for the bank.

    “We are delighted that Ana has joined our team,” said Bank of Georgetown President and CEO Mike Fitzgerald. “Her demonstrated banking and customer service skills will be a great asset to us as Bank of Georgetown continues to grow.”

    As vice president of business development, Morales focuses on developing relationships with businesses and organizations throughout the metropolitan area.

    “I’m excited to have this opportunity to work with a bank that is dedicated to economic development and growth,” Morales said. “Bank of Georgetown has an excellent reputation for providing customers with personalized financial solutions, and I look forward to working with the local community to support its banking needs.”

    Morales has been in the industry since 2001, most recently with Eagle Bank in Washington, D.C., as assistant vice president and commercial deposits officer. Prior to that, she held several positions with Fidelity & Trust, including branch manager.

    Morales earned an associate’s degree in business management from Montgomery College in Rockville, Md. She also completed courses toward a bachelor’s degree in business management at the University of Maryland in College Park, Md., and completed the Maryland Banking School program in 2008.
