    Bank of Georgetown Hires Richard Bernardi as Senior Loan Officer and Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending

    Washington, Oct. 20, 2010Bank of Georgetown, a leading community bank chartered in Washington, D.C., has hired Richard Bernardi as senior vice president of commercial lending to support the bank’s growing client base in Northern Virginia and provide leadership to commercial real estate lending bankwide.

    Bernardi has more than 25 years of experience in lending in the commercial and real estate sector, most recently working with Fulton Bank as senior vice president of real estate lending in Herndon, Va.

    Bernardi earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Maryland in College Park, Md.
