Marlon Moore

Vice President & Business Development Manager

As Vice President and Business Development Manager based in Bank of Georgetown’s headquarters office, Marlon Moore is responsible for coordinating branch business development efforts, developing procedures and policies for all of the bank’s branches, and directing branch personnel.

Mr. Moore joined Bank of Georgetown as a vice president and branch manager in 2005, bringing with with him more than nine years of banking experience, and was promoted to vice president and business development manager in 2008. He works daily to ensure that branches are operating efficiently and actively seeks ways to help the bank grow and continue its excellent service to customers as a leading Washington area financial institution.

Before joining Bank of Georgetown, Mr. Moore worked for Wachovia Bank for six years. During that time, he worked in the bank’s headquarters office in McLean, Va., and in branch locations in Washington, D.C., and Virginia, holding several positions including teller trainer, financial center manager and assistant vice president.

Mr. Moore serves on the boards of LifeSTARTS and the National Institute for Educational Development (NIED).

He attended Hampton University in Hampton, Va.
