Senior Vice President, Chief Credit Officer
Jeff Hedderly is responsible for the quality of Bank of Georgetown's loan porfolio. He is also in charge of loan and credit administration, including documentation and monitoring, and oversees compliance.
With more than 15 years of experience at local and top-tier regional commercial banks, Mr. Hedderly has provided customers throughout the Greater Washington area with superior banking and lending solutions. He has filled executive and managerial roles at both large and small institutions.
Prior to joining Bank of Georgetown in 2005, he served as Chief Credit Officer for James Monroe Bank. There, Mr. Hedderly was responsible for all credit administration, credit policy, loan administration and loan operations. He was also instrumental in maintaining the overall quality of the bank's loan portfolio and regulating the booking, processing, monitoring and documentation of all loans.
Previously, Mr. Hedderly served a nine-year tenure with Sequoia Bank. As Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer there, he helped establish new loan policies and a strong credit culture for the bank. Mr. Hedderly also founded new internal units and departments to supplement the bank's systems, which streamlined processing and documentation for loans. Earlier in his career, he also held positions with Nations Bank and The National Bank of Washington.
Mr. Hedderly earned a Master's in Business Administration from the College of William and Mary and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from The University of Virginia.
