Edward J. Goedecke

Vice President of Commercial Lending

Ed Goedecke's primary focus is to underwrite and develop new commercial business.

Mr. Goedecke has over 15 years in commercial banking experience and several years as cash and investment manager for Medlantic Healthcare Group. He joined Community Bank of Northern Virginia as a Commercial Loan Officer in 2003 and was promoted to Director of Business Development in 2004 where he was responsible for development and underwriting new business. While at Community Bank, Ed generated over $15 million in new relationships for the bank with special emphasis on government contractors and other commercial businesses in the metropolitan area. He also generated $3 million in new depository business.

As Vice President of Riggs Bank from 2000-2003, Ed generated over $30 million in new loan business to not-for-profit organizations and other commercial businesses including both large and middle market companies.

As a resident of Georgetown, Ed held the position of Treasurer for the Papermill Condominium from 2000-2002.
